Cody Sullivan is a playmaker. He was trained in improvisation at Improv Boston in 2014 and at the iO Theater in 2015. He performed on house teams at the iO from 2016-2019.
While in Chicago he wrote two radio plays, and two solo shows for his Godmother Saltine. He also wrote for Cards Against Humanity.
In 2019 he moved to Provincetown. During pandemic he began exploring solo improvisation and solo staged theater. In the summer of 2023, he started CODY PLAYS at the Gifford House, a theater project in which he writes a new play each show for a different member of his community. So far he has written over forty one act plays.
His solo show Town Meeting ran for two sold out runs at the Provincetown Theater in June 2024 and September 2024. He is currently improvising and writing in Boston and will be the Provincetown Theater’s Writer in Residence for 2025.
